Needle Felted Squirrel and Bull Terrier Pup on the way to the Netherlands!

Once upon a time there was a special friendship. The friends lived so very far away from each other. The little squirrel had a birthday gift for her friend but did not know how to go all the way to the Netherlands. She had a special bull terrier puppy for her friend as a gift. One day the strongest fastest squirrel came to see the wee squirrel. She explained how she needed to scurry to the Netherlands but was afraid of water! So the strong big squirrel carried the wee squirrel on his back to see someone who could help. They came upon a beautiful blue jay and the wee squirrel asked if he could fly her and the tiny bull terrier puppy to the Netherlands. The blue jay said "hop on"! Off they flew all the way to the Netherlands. And a grand party was had by all! Happy Birthday my vriendin!

How grateful I am to have a wonderful friend like Helen Priem.  I know this friendship will last for many long years ahead, and the squirrel above represents that marvelous friendship.  And I thought Helen's dog Pinky would love a little bull terrier pal too!  ;)
Helen Priem made the large squirrel and blue jay and Liz Stevens made the house!

Gracie a 4" Needle Felted Bunny By Barby Anderson (SOLD on Etsy)

If I could give a star from the sky to you,
It would be so lovely, maybe pink, lavender or blue,
I would ask it to shine a sweet warm glow,
To bring you cheer where ever you go!

I took a photo of Gracie with my Ragdoll cat on my work table and this shows the extreme "fuzz factor" of this long haired angora dress.

Helen Priem made the darling owl!

Lola Mae 4" Needle Felted Mouse By Barby Anderson (SOLD)

Deep in the forest wee mice do play....

They even frolic with the blue jays, so they say....
The jays keep them safe from dangers nearby...
And lift them on their wing to take off and fly...
So if you see a mouse peeking from the blue jay's wing...
You'll know she is happy and tickled pink!

Helen Priem made the beautiful blue jay.  Liz Stevens made the darling house.

Lola Mae has many wee flowers on her lace hat.

Our newly adopted 6 month old Ragdoll kitty "BOO"

After losing our 12 year old pug Homer and 12 year old cat Kittybear this past spring and summer due to cancer and diabetes we decided to bring a new furry friend into our home for Rudy our 7 year old pug..... and of course for us too.  We adore little Boo! Rudy and Boo are already pals after only one week.  What a joy he is.  Ragdolls become quite large.  20-25 pounds for the males.  They are built strong and sturdy with an extremely loving personality, exactly what we needed for our dear pug Rudy.

Zycam and Rosemarie, had to make another finger puppet! (Both sold)

Zycam a 3" Finger Puppet Medicine Mouse By Barby Anderson (Sold)

The Gnome King was made by Helen Priem!
In the long, long ago lived a wee mouse.....
One day "Zycam" the medicine mouse from the village of "Rodanta" received an alarming message.....
The great Gnome King had taken ill and needed help......
No one could make him well.....
So the forest creatures flew to find little "Zycam" in hopes she could save the King's life.....
"Zycam" scurried immediately to see the Gnome King.....
She brought some magic berries that sparkled in the sun....
One by one she hand fed the great King.....
And in no time the King stood up and felt well again.....
Ever so grateful was the King.....
So much so that he had the softest nest made for the wee mouse....
And blessed her for the rest of her life!
