One day the great "Snow Owl" from above flew down to see the "Winter Fairy".....
He said there was much unrest in the world and many were suffering from extreme heat....
The wee fairy and owl put their heads together..... to find a way to help....
The fairy had a magical wand that sparkled like a diamond.....
She knew great things could come from her little wand....
All they needed to do was fly all over the world and wave her wand .... and her wand would bring cool breezes to all in need.....
The "Snow Owl" and fairy flew half way around the world..... waving her wand and icy breezes would follow....
After awhile her tiny wings could no longer fly from all the miles behind them....
But she knew she was needed and so.....
The great "Snow Owl" lifted her onto his soft back and off they flew...... and flew..... waving her wand all the way.
The great owl finally brought her home to the high mountain top up north.... how happy she was that so many had a bit of winter in the hot summer days.....
So when you feel a cool breeze waft by.... look above and you may see a wee fairy waving her wand on the wing of a great white owl!
