Music Box Bunny By Barby Anderson (SOLD) Needle Felted / Cashmere clothing

The owl was made by Helen Priem. The music box plays "Wind Beneath My Wings." And the story is:

High on top of a snowy mountain lived many creatures, however the three that were known to all were the great owl, snow bunny and a wee golden bird....
You see, oddly they cared deeply for each other....
The snow bunny helped the Mama owl one day when her baby fell from the nest....
The bunny plucked soft fur from her body to keep the baby owl warm....
The golden bird flew down to the baby owl to sing her a calming lullabye....
When the Mama owl returned to her nest she was frantic....
However, below on the ground she spied with her keen owl eyes something moving....
The bunny and golden bird had saved her baby from certain danger by camouflaging her baby from the fox with bunny fur as white as snow...
And when the golden bird saw the danger come near she flitted about distracting the predator away from the tiny baby owl....
It was from that day on......
That the grand Mama owl promised she would watch over the bunny and bird all her life....
And she brought them food to share on the snowy cold days....
And sheltered them under her giant wings when the strong wind blew.... forever there was a bond with the three. And all was well on the snowy mountain!
