Thank you Sharon! I loved that color too. I found it on ebay and it was the longest hair angora yarn I have ever seen. Made in France. I wish I had that in every color!
Happy holidays! :)

I agree, that wool in every colour would be amazing! Your little mice and bunnies could have a different coloured scarf for every day! Thank you for your comment on my blog and Happy Holidays to you too! :)

Thank you Sharon! Isn't working in art just the best? I cannot imagine never creating anything. Your little characters are so dear. They make me smile! :)

You are so right Barby. :) A few months ago I moved back with my parents due to some money problems on my side, and they live in a tiny little cottage and there is not much space here. I never thought I'd be able to be able to needle felt, but after a month of no crafting (!) I couldn't stand it anymore and just had to make something. Well, I don't make much here, because there isn't a lot of space to put things but I really need to be able to get at my supplies for when I can't not be felting. I miss it so much when I can't do it. The only problem is I now have lots of little bears and have only ever sold one of them... I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. :( Do you have any advice for selling them? I have tried Etsy and Folksy and only had one sale on Folksy so far. Haven't tried EBay because the UK version isn't as good as the US one for crafted items. Not many people look on there for those types of things. Thanks for all your comments and replies. :)

Hello Sharon!

When I started all this in 2006 I was in your same place. I had no customer base, no collectors, and I was wondering if it would ever become a business! It takes time to build friendships with people you meet through your art. In time people started emailing and I met many wonderful people who did end up purchasing my first pieces of art. And my first pieces of art were not good at all! But it did not happen overnight. I think I just kept practicing and learning on my own and in time my business started to flourish. The main thing is that you enjoy what you are doing and have a love of this art, and you do! There is no magic to selling, it just happens when it is meant to happen. I hope it will be very soon for you! :)

Happy holidays!

Barby

That's good Sharon! I am still learning new things every day and practice new techniques that may have even happened by accident. I love that needle felting is a never ending learning process. It makes it such fun! :)
