Needle Felted Squirrel and Bull Terrier Pup on the way to the Netherlands!

Once upon a time there was a special friendship. The friends lived so very far away from each other. The little squirrel had a birthday gift for her friend but did not know how to go all the way to the Netherlands. She had a special bull terrier puppy for her friend as a gift. One day the strongest fastest squirrel came to see the wee squirrel. She explained how she needed to scurry to the Netherlands but was afraid of water! So the strong big squirrel carried the wee squirrel on his back to see someone who could help. They came upon a beautiful blue jay and the wee squirrel asked if he could fly her and the tiny bull terrier puppy to the Netherlands. The blue jay said "hop on"! Off they flew all the way to the Netherlands. And a grand party was had by all! Happy Birthday my vriendin!

How grateful I am to have a wonderful friend like Helen Priem.  I know this friendship will last for many long years ahead, and the squirrel above represents that marvelous friendship.  And I thought Helen's dog Pinky would love a little bull terrier pal too!  ;)
Helen Priem made the large squirrel and blue jay and Liz Stevens made the house!
